After playing professional basketball internationally, Stan accepted the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach & Athletic Director at Simmons College of Kentucky, in Louisville, KY. While at Simmons College of Kentucky, he brought back both Men’s & Women’s NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Basketball Programs after the program’s eighty-eight-year absence at the school.
In 2010, Stan began working at Quakerdale, a youth service agency in New Providence, IA, and helped to turn the agency into Quakerdale Prep Academy, focusing on working with young men who had inspiration to play basketball at the college level and beyond. Stan led Quakerdale Prep Academy to back-to-back Prep National Championships. While he was at Quakerdale Prep Academy, Stan assisted over sixty-six young men in receiving a post-secondary education on full tuition scholarships.
After two years at Quakerdale, Stan accepted a position at a Prep Academy in Charlotte, NC, serving as Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Academic Advisor. In 2016, Stan returned to Iowa to work for Iowa State Extension, in Fairfield, IA, as a County Director-4H Facilitator. While working for Iowa State Extension, he also served as the Head Basketball Coach for the Cedar Valley Court Kings, a Minor Professional Basketball Team (MBL).
Most recently, Stan has served as a mentor for middle/high school, college student athletes and those individuals who would like to continue to play at the professional level. Coach Stan was an Assistant Coach for Kennedy Men’s Basketball, and Anamosa High School. He presently is an Assistant Coach at Coe College and he will be coaching the new Professional ABA team that's coming to Cedar Rapids, the Cedar Rapids Roadrunners.

Professional Experience
Molly Lamb-Hughes has spent over half of her life teaching at the middle school level in the Cedar Rapids School District. Her career began at McKinley Middle School, where she spent twenty-one years working with middle schoolers in and out of the classroom. She taught math, social studies, and reading throughout her time, along with coaching girls swimming and boys and girls track and field. Many amazing relationships were formed over the years with students and their families, many of which continue on today.
The last two years of her career have been at Roosevelt Creative Corridor Business Academy, RCCBA, where she has taught math at the 6th and 7th grade level, along with serving as the Activities Coordinator this past year.
